Hi there! My name is Verda, and I’m excited to be your child’s speech therapist!
I am a licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over four years of experience working with toddlers through school-aged children. I earned my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Baylor University and support children with speech sound disorders, language delays, and fluency disorders.

I’m especially passionate about gestalt language processing (GLP) and am currently working toward certification as a GLP provider. I also enjoy supporting children who use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). The name Expression Beyond Words comes from my love of embracing all forms of communication and helping children use their unique strengths to build toward new modes of expression.
